About two minutes. Afterward Cursor can create FabricLoop tasks from TODOs, message teammates, and draft news — using your permissions.

Free forever for small teams · No credit card · Set up in about 60 seconds
Before you start

About two minutes. Then try a prompt

You need a FabricLoop account and Cursor with MCP support. Copy the endpoint from Settings → AI / MCP, or use the URL below.

MCP endpoint
https://api.fabricloop.com/functions/v1/fabricloop-mcp
Setup

Add FabricLoop in Cursor. Then approve access

01
Open Cursor MCP settings
In Cursor, open Settings → MCP (or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json for a global server, or project .cursor/mcp.json for one repo).
02
Add the FabricLoop server URL
Add a remote server entry pointing at https://api.fabricloop.com/functions/v1/fabricloop-mcp. Save the file or confirm in the UI.
03
Approve OAuth
When Cursor prompts, sign in at app.fabricloop.com, pick the workspace, and approve the tools you want.
04
Confirm tools appear
In an agent chat, FabricLoop tools should appear (tasks, messages, news, and more). If not, reload MCP servers and check Connected clients in FabricLoop.
Try it

Paste a prompt. Watch it land in FabricLoop

These work once the connector shows FabricLoop tools. Name the group or person when you can.

Try this
“Turn the TODO comments in this branch into tasks in #Engineering, assigned to me.”
Try this
“Find the task about MCP oauth redirect, comment with the fix from this PR, mark it done, then DM Sana that it’s ready to review.”
Try this
“Search the workspace for “MCP setup,” summarize open tasks, and post a one-line status in #Engineering.”
Access

What it can see. What it cannot

01
Sees what you see
Only groups and content your FabricLoop user can already access.
02
Project vs global config
A project mcp.json applies to that repo; a user-level config applies everywhere in Cursor.
03
Revoke anytime
Settings → AI / MCP → Revoke on the Cursor client.
Troubleshooting

If tools do not show up. Check these first

01
Tools missing
Reload MCP in Cursor, confirm the URL has no trailing typo, and finish OAuth again.
02
Auth loop
Revoke the client in FabricLoop, clear the stale entry in Cursor, then reconnect.
03
Wrong workspace
Reconnect and pick the correct workspace on the consent screen.
04
Admin approval
If connect is blocked, ask a workspace owner or admin to allow MCP connectors.
