Tasks

Turn what people say into tasks you can track

Any sentence in a chat or note can become a task, still linked to the conversation it came from. See your work as a list, kanban board, calendar or team dashboard.

Turn a sentence into a task

Turn any message into a task, or highlight a sentence in a note to create a task with an owner. The conversation stays attached, so nobody retypes it into Asana or Jira.

01
Message → task
A sentence becomes a task you can see — owner, due date, and the thread still attached.
02
Note highlight → task
One click from a brief to an assigned task — the note stays linked.
03
Context travels with the work
Comments, files, and the original discussion do not get left behind.
Views

See your work your way

01
List view
A clean, sortable queue for teams that just need to work through it — drag to reorder.
02
Kanban view
Drag cards across status columns. It is easy on a trackpad and on a phone, not a desktop-only gesture.
03
Calendar view
See start and due dates laid out across the week or month — drop a task onto a day to reschedule.
04
Dashboard: allocation, at-risk, throughput
Open and overdue counts, workload for each person and agent, a throughput chart over 7, 14, or 30 days, and an at-risk list. Select any number to see the tasks behind it — no spreadsheet export.
Live

Everyone sees the latest

Drag a card, change an assignee, mark something done — it updates in real time across iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, and web. Push and email alerts keep you up to date according to your notification preferences.

01
Drag and drop, easily
Move work between statuses, reorder the list, or drop a card onto a date. Smooth on every device.
02
Real-time across devices
The board you are looking at is the same board everyone else is looking at. No refresh, no “did you see my update?”
03
Push and email alerts
Assignees and followers can receive push notifications, email, or both when a task they care about is updated or marked done, according to their notification preferences.
Task details

Everything a task needs, in one place

01
Multiple assignees
Assign a task to more than one person when the work genuinely needs it.
02
Assign to agents and apps
Hand routine work to Loop Agent or a connected app the same way you assign a teammate.
03
Priority
Low, Medium, High, or Critical. Medium is the default. Filter the board by it, and High or Critical shows up in at-risk.
04
Start date and due date
Plan when work begins, not just when it is due.
05
Percentage completion
Track partial progress instead of a binary done/not done.
Structure

Break the work down. See what's blocking it

A task can sit under a parent, split into subtasks, name what is blocking it, and carry labels.

01
Parent tasks and subtasks
One parent, as many subtasks as the work needs. A chain stops at three levels. Unlinking a subtask does not delete it.
02
Blockers
Name the task you are waiting on, or write why. Moving a card into Blocked asks for one of those before it lands. A loop is rejected.
03
Labels
Type is one choice — Bug, Enhancement, Epic, or names you add. Labels can stack on the same task and show on the card.
Collaboration

Discuss the work right on the task

01
Comments with images, files, and clips
Attach images, documents, and audio or video clips directly on the task — the discussion stays with the work.
02
Document scanner (iOS)
Scan a signed form or printed page straight into a task comment.
03
AI-generated summary
Catch up on a task with a long history in one AI summary instead of scrolling every comment.
04
Live comments as people type
See new comments, files, and completions appear on the task without hitting refresh.

Tasks sit next to messaging and notes

FabricLoop puts chat and tasks together. It is not a messenger with checkboxes, and not a project tool that still needs Slack.
