Use Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
with your workspace

What your AI can do

Ask it to get things done

Use the tools the server exposes today. Name the group or person in the prompt when you can.

01
Tasks end to end
Find a task by name, do the work, comment, mark done, attach a file, then DM the owner — in one prompt.
02
Messages and DMs
“DM Sana: can you review the MCP guide before standup?” Post in a group, schedule a send, summarize a chat.
03
Notes and comments
Search notes, draft or edit them, and leave comments (including on a specific block).
04
News and events
Draft a company update, or create a news post with an event start and end time for office hours or launches.
05
Search
Semantic search across tasks, notes, and news. Look people up by name. Open a DM by participant — chat is separate from workspace search.
06
Attachments
Upload files to a task, list files on a task or news item, open a signed URL, or extract text from a PDF.
All your work

One server, not three silos

Slack, Asana and Notion each share only one slice of your work over MCP. FabricLoop puts messaging, tasks, notes and news behind one connection, so your AI sees the whole picture.

01
One grant, one audit trail
Connect once. See who connected what. Revoke when the project ends.
02
Context that stays linked
A task created from a chat still lives next to the conversation that caused it.
03
Human in the loop
Agents draft; people send. You stay accountable for what leaves the workspace.
Safe by design

You stay in control. Revoke any time

Built for teams that want AI in their workflow without giving it the keys to everything.

01
Group-scoped access
The client inherits your membership — it cannot expand what you are allowed to see.
02
Audited connections
Settings → AI / MCP lists connected clients and scopes. Enterprise adds SSO and broader audit logs.
03
Revoke anytime
Disconnect a client immediately when a contractor leaves or a project ends.
Example prompts

Jobs you can run today

Multi-step prompts work best. More pasteable examples live in help.

Try this
“Find the open task about MCP setup docs in #Engineering. Mark it done if the docs are shipped, then DM Sana: “MCP setup docs task is done — can you glance at /en/product/mcp/?””
Try this
“Search the workspace for “oauth redirect,” add a comment with what I fixed, set due tomorrow, and post a one-line status in #Launch.”
Try this
“Create a news event for All Company: “MCP office hours,” Thursday 15:00 for 45 minutes, with a short agenda.”
Try this
“What tasks assigned to me are overdue? Outline next steps as a comment on the top one, and DM Sana if it’s blocked.”
Why it works this way

Clear rules make AI safe to use

FabricLoop’s MCP design comes from The AI Organization: work has to be easy to see and check. That means clear permissions, audit trails, and a person who still presses send. That is why access is scoped and revocable.

FAQ

Common questions. Straight answers

What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor work with other apps. FabricLoop exposes your workspace that way, so they can act in the same place your team already works.
Which clients work today?
Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT. Other MCP clients that accept a remote URL with OAuth can connect the same way.
What can the AI see?
Only the workspace you approve, and only groups and content your account can already see — messages, tasks, notes, news and events, comments, and attachments. Workspace search covers tasks, notes, and news (not chat). There is no workspace-wide backdoor.
Can I revoke access?
Yes. Open Settings → AI / MCP, find the connected client, and tap Revoke. Access ends immediately.
Does MCP cost extra?
Connecting over MCP does not add a separate FabricLoop seat fee. Agent model costs inside FabricLoop are billed separately; your Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT plan is billed by that vendor.
Does it work on the free plan?
Yes — you can connect and try it. Free includes test-only agent credits for in-product agents; MCP uses your connected AI client’s own plan.
